In 2010, CVEC issued capital credit refunds to members who had service with us in 1983 and issued a 20% capital credit refund to members who had service with the Co-op in 2009.  Current members received their refund as a check or a credit on their electric bill.

Checks for former members were mailed to their last address known to CVEC.  The post office returned a number of those checks as undeliverable.

If you have review the list of unclaimed capital credits and believe that you are due a refund then please contact the Co-op in writing:

CVEC will verify that the name matches an unclaimed capital credit and issue a refund to the current address.
